I bought a PMR-30 2 months ago. It's a 2016 model. I've fired 3 brands of ammo through it, and have found that the absolute best ammo is , "Colorado Buck" made by Armscore USA. I had a few problems with both CCI, and Hornady. After 500 rounds of Colorado Buck, I haven't had a single issue! I am so confident in this ammo, that I've ordered 1500 rounds from Cheaper Than Dirt. These rounds are jacketed hollow points, @ 40 grains. As I said, these are made in the USA. CTD has them @ 14.49 per 50. Shipping is rather costly, and I order them in lots of 500. I cant speak for anyone else's PMR, but these rounds have been flawless through my pistol

Hmm, either 'Colorado Buck' is different from Armscor's regular .22wmr or your pistols like a different flavor than mine does. Never had any issues with feed or fire with the Armscor ammo but accuracy is not great in mine. CCI TNT, +V, Remington & Federal all group a lot tighter than Armscor does. I also get a lot of unburnt powder left over in my action from Armscor, like little grains of brass or gold.

At least Armscor is plentiful and about the only brand that you can find by the brick.

Well Colorado Buck is advertised as containing the "best" components, as recommended by "Colorado Buck" himself. Whether this is true or not, I can't be sure. But I have never noticed any of the issues that you have had with the Armscore brand. I have never fired the Armscore brand in this gun, and it looks like I won't unless I have no choice. Funny thing is, CB is 40 cents cheaper per 50, than Armscore!

I just purchased a new PMR30 for $359 at BiMArt (Brookings OR). It looks different from other versions I have seen (a new gen?), with the SN and "22 WMR" shown on the rear of the receiver just below the slide. So far it works fine with CCI 40gr MaxiMag and Federal 50gr JHP. I also use the Makershot mag loader tool. It a round doesn't feel like it goes in smoothly, the PMR will jam. I only load 25 rounds (you can dent rounds if you go past that). I also took apart all four of my mags and cleaned them then applied Remington Dry Luke to the followers. Hint: take the mags part in a big cardboard box with a towel in it and save a lot of time hunting for the launched spring plate inside the mag latch plate.
