If one were to do this the PLR would become an SBR and require the tax stamp? I converted a SU-16C to an E model
and have the C model trigger and stock assembly left over and it appears it would mate up with the PLR just fine?
PS - I think the 1934 National Firearms Act is a bad law. Putting your SU-16 stock on your PLR-16 isn't going to make you into a dangerous person with evil intent, it won't make you harm anyone, and therefore it shouldn't make you a felon. Similarly, you shouldn't need to ask permission and pay an exorbitant tax to make a firearm quieter. That's dumber than dirt.
