I wish I could report all positive. I did a search for my last post about shooting and at that time, I was up to 900 rounds when my problems started.

First my front site kept falling out. Easy fix, superglue.

Next, my gun started to have failure to feeds. I thought it was the way I was loading the mags. So I researched and actually wrote another post on how to load mags correctly.

I bought a case of CCI Maxi Mag HPs. My gun had been feeding these fine until now. They fail to load almost every round, with two different magazines, regardless if they have 30 or 5 rounds in them.

I took my gun apart, down to the extractors, cleaned, looked for anything that might be a burr etc. nothing jumped out at me. Put it back together, lightly greased railed and worn areas. Tightened the claim shell polymer body. Cycles well, feels smooth, springs back strong.

Loaded a mag with five rounds, cycled by hand, same issue, they get hung up on the barrel, like they pop up too high, not centered going I to barrel. Has anyone else have had this problem? Know a quick fix?

Is it the CCI hollow points? The hollow points have a little ridge on the bullet. When it fails to feed, I pull the slide back a little, without letting the round fall out, the bullet feeds.

Any ideas appreciated. This was one of my favorite plinking guns, now it is an embarrassment.

Thanks H20man for the reply. This might be the only option.

I edited the post, as I was distracted when I first wrote and did not proof read before posting.
You've done well shooting more than 1000 rounds & dealing with an assortment of issues on your own, but I think it's time to let the factory do their thing.
