l stripped my .380 all the way down to put a new trigger in it(because l filed it down to much prior to my first range visit
last week) and was now able to do a real shiny [email protected] on all the metal parts ...hammer trigger bar barrel, feed brl. lug etc.
Inoticed even after the sanding l can see pits in the metal on the top of the slide trigger bar especially. Are these supposed to be there ? Since l have it all apart can l soak or spray something to help smooth these pits or live with it.

Same deal on mine wihich is going on 2 yrs and over 900 perfect rounds.

I smoothed it down a bunch but left some pits, no problem here.

Edit -- keep a very very thin smudge of grease on it and the hammer interface.
