Hi everyone, Quick question. i have a keltec PF9, my barrel broke 2 months ago. the manufacture is out of stock and i haven't been able to find a new barrel online or my local repair stores. I've noticed that the p11 barrel is the same size and looks identical. will the p11 barrel fit and function properly on the PF9??? or does anybody know where i can order a barrel for my PF9?

I take it you are not the original owner of the PF-9, so the warranty does not apply? Even so, I would send the pistol to Kel Tec for repair. They may be out of stock for sale to customers, but will have barrels for repair. If not in warranty, cost is flat $40.00, plus parts. If you can get one of your local dealers to send it to kel tec for you, cost would be minimal to ship. There are no third party barrel makers for this gun by the way. Once you are eligible to use the Trading Post (read the rules supplied to you when you joined KTOG), you could advertise for a barrel and some member might have a spare to sell. (Do not try to advertise to buy or sell outside of the Trading Post, as it is against the rules)

Did you put in an inquiry with K-T, here?

If you're not under warranty and you're sure the barrel is the only
problem, cheapest route would be just buying a new barrel.

PF-9 parts collections sometimes show up on ebay, tho you
are rolling the dice on condition.

Edit: What's that piece sitting between recoil spring assy and slide?

IIRC, they originally had the same barrels but some changes were made to the feed ramps early in production.

Yes i checked them. They are very similar. The PF9 has longer feed ramp, and the barrel profile looks slightly different. My P11 barrel is parked, and my PF9 barrel was blued, but looks in the white, so without calipers to properly measure, it's just a guess. I would be curious if anyone has tried swapping barrels.

Edit to add, if the profile was the same, i would guess that a pf9 barrels feed ramp could be filed down and possibly work in a P11.
