When the receiver of the Generation 2 Kel Tec Sub 2000 is disassembled for installing our trigger upgrade, the "castle nut" that helps hold the receiver together must be removed. When this nut is removed, the factory adhesive bond is broken, and for reassembly, a new bond must be created to secure the "castle nut" to the receiver.
Performance Services is now offering a modified "castle nut" with two small slots machined into the nut that will allow the use of the Performance Services Single Point Sling Mount to secure the nut onto the receiver without the use of any adhesives. This system is superior to any adhesive bonding method, and will allow the receiver to be disassembled and reassembled multiple times with out using messy and unreliable adhesives.
We have assembled a kit consisting of a modified "castle nut", a Performance Services Quick Detach Single Point Sling Mount, and your choice of either the original trigger upgrade, or the "Wicked" trigger upgrade. All for the low price of $99.95 plus $8.50 shipping.
