When the receiver of the Generation 2 Kel Tec Sub 2000 is disassembled, the "castle nut" that helps hold the receiver together must be removed. When this nut is removed, the factory adhesive bond is broken, and for reassembly, a new bond must be created to secure the "castle nut" to the receiver.
Performance Services is now offering a service to machine two small slots into your "castle nut" that will allow the use of a clamp type Single Point Sling Mount to secure the nut onto the receiver without the use of any adhesives. This system is superior to any adhesive bonding method, and will allow the receiver to be disassembled and reassembled multiple times with out using messy and unreliable adhesives.
The price for this service is $27.95 including return shipping. If you also choose to order either of the Performance Services Trigger Upgrades, or Single Point Sling Mount, No Additional Shipping Will Be Charged.
This service can also be performed for a Generation 1 Sub 2000.
