First post here....I've decided to buy a P3AT. Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can find the best price?

    Thanks,

    T.J.

Dallas-Ft. Worth area in Texas...thought it was in my profile. I don't mind ordering online either.

    Thanks,

Sorry, didn't think about checking the profile. I'm from Tennessee, so I wouldn't be much help there. You can't order guns without going through a local gun shop (or atleast one in the state you live in that you can go to for the pickup).

+1 for Gunbroker. If you go through Goldenloki, you can get some good extras with your P3AT. I think there's a blue on black with discount offers for reliability prep and duracoating. Keep in mind if buying used that the lifetime warranty only extends to the original owner.

Thanks for the info guys! I love gun forums...everybody is always so helpful. I just heard there is a local gun show this weekend. I'm going to check prices and see if I can get a deal. If not, I'm going to hit up one of the above mentioned guys on Gunbroker.

Have you checked any of the local gun stores. Here in Houston I've seen the P-3AT for $239.00 all black just this morning at my LGS. You might also want to look in some of the bigger pawn shops that sell new guns.

I'm going to call around if I don't see a good deal at the show. The two or 3 local shops I've been to are wanting $279-$299.

TxCajun....what do you think about getting a parkerized finish as opposed to the hard chrome?

I have all 3 finsihes and my favorite is hard chrome. It is the hardest, slickest and most rust/wear resistent finsih of the 3, IMO, but the parkerized finish is generally tougher and more corrosion resistent than blued. Hard chrome and parkerized are usually about the same price with the blued ones being cheaper. BTW, parkerized KTs are usually in short supply. You may or may not even see one. They just don't do as many parked guns.
