Always read online about what garbage these little Keltec were. Found a to-cheap-to-pass-up deal on a used P3at about four years ago. Never owned a .380, so I bought it. I like to tinker with mechanical stuff, so as a mental exercise, I just knew I could mess with and make this garbage work.
(yeah, I'm that conceited in my mechanical ego.)
Now, after over a thousand rounds it has totally deflated that ego. I am a card carrying member of the Church if Glock, so my reliability standards were already high. This little pistol has went bang at every request. Not one jam or FTF. This thing has not failed with any ammo it was given to digest. It even survived a bad batch of Summit factory ammo that Kaboomed a SW Bodygaurd I later purchased as an "upgrade".
The only improvement I've been able to add was little finger spur baseplates on the magazines. Without them, I the pistol was just to painful to practice with. That is all I've done to it. It is not a fun gun to shoot, but has a better reliability track record than my trusty Glocks.
Just wanted to say howdy. :rayof::rayof:
