Firing some 90g XTP hand-loads in my 1st generation 3AT on Tuesday of this week the hammer spring broke on the second round. I emailed Kel Tec on Wednesday morning and outlined the problem. On Friday I had a new Hammer/Spring assembly in the mail. I thought this was the best customer service imaginable. I popped the new spring in and finished my test of the 90 grain loads. Kudos to Kel Tec. I do not recall when I purchased this little pistol but the SN is 005XX and purchased from a supplier as soon as it was available. I walked crooked without the P3AT in my pocket I have carried it so long. Durin the three days without my backup gun I remembered why I did not like carrying the 38 Snubby.
