Recently I posted a note about light strikes and what was the solution to the problem. Well, I should have looked at the problems with steel cartridges. I noted that at first the pistol fired OK and then slowly got worse and worse. Finally would not fire at all. Called the techs at Keltec and the first question was "you're not firing stuff like (insert a Russian brand of steel case ammo here) are you?" I had to admit that I was and that some of it was impossible to eject and had to be pried out. They sent me a new extractor, spring, pin and asked me to stick to brass. At this point I have fired 300 rounds (all brass) without a single problem. When all else fails, read the instructions. :-?

Glad it all worked out OK. I think that sometimes we all "forget" to read the instructions at one time or another...I know that I have :)
