I prefer a leather pocket holster with a removable anti-print panel. This makes it quite versatile in terms of use, front pocket, back pocket, etc. IMO, leather is a better material as it wears quite well and provides more rigid support and protection. Mine has seen well more than a decade of regular use and is still in perfect form. Mine is an older model from a maker no longer in business but the style is still available from other makers.
Here are similar holsters from pocketholster.com. Although I have no experience with their products, the image shows the style, the 4 across the top, without the hinged, fake zipper top. Rather than screws, the anti-print panel on mine is fastened with snaps, making it simple and quick to convert.

If you look around, I'm sure others make a similar style. Hedly Holsters makes a good one, but I think their anti-print panel is riveted on, making it less versatile, IMO. Perhaps they could alter that and use snaps or screws upon request.
