I have a blued P3-AT and want to Dura-Coat the slide. I know that I need to disassemble the slide and degrease it but do I also have to sand blast it to get the Dura-Coat to stick? ???

not that I know but it couldn't hurt to get the best possible finish

if duracoat is like gun kote, then sand blasting is best...bear metal sticks the best....find a friend to do it, if you want to do it your self, and have a compressor, they can be bought for $20...gpr

I did a ceramacoat on mine and love it. Very easy to do and no sandblasting needed. The only drawback is it only comes in a flat black finish. I posted pics and will try to find the link for you.
