Will a P-32 non-metal guide rod fit and work on a P3-AT? Would this eliminate the peening?

I don't know that they are the same dimensions. I'd have to check. Anyway, I'm guessing KT went with the metal guide rod in the 380 for a reason. Better to get a slide that won't peen. It's not like they haven't made any good ones. :-/

The P32 rod is 0.050" shorther than the P3AT.  2.070 verses 2.120.  the OD is similair.  the P3AT is a consistant 0.136" OD where as the P32 is an oval 0.125/0.135

It would not reach the hole in the slide of a P3AT.  If you use one of the nylon washers (0.090" thick at the ID) it would fit and possibly work.  However I don't think I'll try shooting iP3AT with P32 rod.

  4. Did you say washers? http://www.ktog.org/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1175020076
    I just got a new batch of 1000 ;D

Did I mention I have sent out over 1000 of them?

KB61751's concern was not about the rod, but if the P32 polymer rod would prevent slide peening.

How long it takes depends on the slide. Yes, they will send you a new one.

And I didn't want to scare you either.

If you look at the comparision of the top to pics it shows a good slide verses one that MIGHT have problems
