View attachment 35394 While I’m waiting for the “game changing” SIG P365 hype and prices to drop, I decided to get another P11 - the original game changer. Pocket carried in a modified Uncle Mike’s No.4
I don’t like that gun the grip feels like it is to far fwd I feel in love with the way the p11 felt like a walther and then I got a 40 kit and I found out about apw and I have never wished for anything but more than more boxes of parts and I think I’m about to have another slide hard chrome and ported and the notch cut for Novak LoMount 380 sights I don’t really need fancy sights but I want them because I think they will look cool

I picked this up from a local gun store for $110 a few years ago. As you might expect for that price, it was a little rough. I ordered new springs and the metal recoil spring guide before production ended, and a Northwoods trigger, before they went away. Twisted Industries fiber optic sights and Talon Grips are also on it. I reshaped the top of the back strap, and did an undercut on the trigger guard. I painted it with Brownells Alumahyde II in Magpul Flat Dark Earth color.

My new P40 is on the top. It is parked. I swapped to a grey grip and had to replace the damaged front site. I polished the barrel hood, feed ramp and trigger bar. I installed Mcarbo trigger springs left the trigger return spring stock and shortened the trigger. My old P11 is on the bottom. Blued over black. Stippled grip, shortened trigger with shrink wrap, polished barrel hood, feed ramp and trigger bar. Mcarbo springs like the P40. Parked P357 conversion in the middle. The pistol is laying on my new IWB holster. Interestingly the trigger guards are different widths. The grey frame will not fit in my old holster but they both fit in the new one.

ETA: Found pictures of the P40 as I received it
