I see that Kel Tec sells P3AT slides on their website. With today's modern machining methods I was unsure if the slide would be a "drop in" part or if it would have to be fitted to the frame.

Has anyone bought and fit a replacement slide to their gun? If so, how much fitting was involved?

Thanks

Have never had to replace a slide on a P3AT, but did do so on a PF-9 some years ago. New slide fit on with no problems and no fitting required. A little 'stiff" at first, but with grease, and a bit of shooting, smoothed right up.

Thanks for the reply and info. Maybe the little 3AT will be the same if I decide to try one.

I was going to call Kel Tec today but they had a closed notice on their website due to the hurricane.
