A very nice looking set of P3ATs. Nice ad. I like the way they stuck it to Ruger with the "Accept No Substitutes" statement. As the original, they need to get the word out that KTs are the best as well. I know I prefer my P3AT over my LCP. Others do as well.
Of my four deacons, two own the LCP and one just got a P3AT after talking to me. I simply set both guns in front of him, told what the differences were, and let him make up his own mind. That was Wednesday night after church. On Thursday he bought the KT for $269.00 at our LGS. Hopefully he will be another satisfied KT customer.
I also sent him here to KTOG. I don't know if he'll join but he did download the F&B thread so he could properly prepare his 3AT. We've talked oil and grease, cleaning every week, and numerous other things. We'll have to wait and see how far he goes. But he does anticipate that he'll have success with the P3AT. It will be his go to gun this summer when it's too hot to wear a covering garment over his .357.
IMO it's a much better add than the old ones. The old orange adds simply made the product look cheap. I didn't even consider buying a KT until a friend bought a P32 and raved about it. My dislike of KT was based wholly on their bad ads. By spending a little more for a professional photo shoot, the P3AT now looks like the quality firearm that it is. It also distances it from guns like Davis and Jennings, to which it is often unfavorably compared to by gun snobs and fudds alike.
