I guess it's obvious that I am really happy with my new CMR 30.:rayof:
Right out of the box it put 15 rounds on target at 25 yards with CCI Maxi-mags and factory iron sights.

I fired 5 different types of ammo. Actually I tried to fire 5 but the Federal Premium 30 grain Speer TNT HP would not even load from the magazine. They misfed 3 times in a row so I gave up on them. The 4 I did fire were: CCI Maxi-mag; Remington 40 grain PSP; Armscor 40 grain Jacketed Hollow-Point; Winchester Super X 40 grain, 1910 FPS Jacketed Hollow Point; and Winchester Varmint HV 30 grain, 2250 FPS Polymer Tip V-Max.
Predictably each one had a couple failures at the beginning of the mag, but then ran through just fine. The last mag of 20 CCI's ran without a hitch.
I predict they will all be reliable after I get another couple hundred rounds through the CMR. I can't wait to get to that point!

Thanks. My only concern so far is that the bolt release is very hard to work. Hopefully this will change over time, or someone will make a larger lever for replacement of the original equipment.

Be careful what you wish for! It is highly possible that the bolt release will become MUCH easier to manipulate when it breaks off. Hopefully yours is new enough to have already been updated so that won't happen. I, on the other hand, have been informed I get to wait 8 to 10 weeks to have mine returned to me after they fix the bolt release. Silliness.

Had second range day today shooting the CMR in a steel match. One fail to feed and no other problems in 75+ rounds. What a hoot. Bolt release still there.
