Trowers Althea is a good tune also. I wasnt sure if it was the same as the Dead song. I wasnt much of a GD fan.

I don't know if anyone loved this band like I do, but try these songs and you will be hooked:



This second one is called "How Can I Miss You When You Won't Go Away". I used to sing it to my ex-wife before she was my ex.

Here is a great Texas group from the 60's that I had totally forgotten about. I just listened to this whole album "Mendocino" on youtube and it has some great songs.

I ran across another one from my high school days (60's). One of our favorites to dance to. Wikipedia calls them the father of punk rock way before punk rock was a thing.
