Speaking of cleaning it up...

What are your thoughts concerning the NB finish some Gen II SUB-2000 are appearing with?

Does it stay cleaner longer?
Does it clean up faster?
Do you consider it 'value added'?

I have only a few hundred rounds through mine but cleans up well so far. As of value I'm not really sure. I'm just happy I got one

I'm in the "I'm just happy I got one" camp as well.

The NB finish was my first preference because I liked the look, but my second preference (tan) came available first.

I passed on a couple of green ones though...

I haven't shot my NB sub yet, but yes it should be easier to clean and less chance for corrosion. It's worth the extra cost to me.

NB & BN finishes
