I just bought a used P-32 (Gen 2) from a local shop for a decent price. It had quite a bit of holster wear on the slide. When I got it home that night I had a closer look at it and found a couple of issues. The barrel lug had been sheared off and there was a crack in the frame just under the slide stop. The plastic grip also had some unusual wear that I figured was from not having a barrel lug intact. I took it back to the shop and they offered to send it in for repair. I accepted their offer to send it back in. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures before I had them send it back in. I just wanted to post this for documentation of the shop's customer service and the fact that another person had a barrel lug shear off. I will post an update when I get the gun back.

Kel Tec's lifetime warranty is for the First owner ONLY. It usually doesn't apply for used pistols...but we never know. At worst KT will charge you a flat fee of $40 for repairs...I believe they cover shipping back to you.

Not the least bit worried. I know I am in good hands with Kel Tec. I dealt with them on behalf of some of my customers and they were great. The shop I bought the P-32 from is going to handle everything, including any repair cost. That was very nice of them and I didn't expect them to go to that extent with a $179 used gun.

My P-32 finally arrived back. It was 8 weeks and 1 day from the time I dropped it off at the shop. They replaced the frame, barrel, and several small parts. I will function test in the coming weeks (after hunting season) and report back.
