I've been shooting for close to 30 years. I wasn't all that young when I started shooting, so I'm "pretty darned old" now. Time, plus shooting over 25,000 rounds of 9mm through guns which were too large for my hands did severe damage to my right thumb joint and wrist bones. In order to keep shooting I had to change from shooting right handed to shooting left handed and go down in caliber from 9mm to .380 and .22lr.

I have other .22 lr range fun guns, but thought I could use "one more" -- LOL So, I just bought a Keltec P17. I've been reading a lot of posts here the past few days and am impressed with the tenor of the threads, replies and advice.

So, here I am to learn as much more as I can, and pop some questions.

Thank you all! I am even more impressed now than when I spent several hours reading threads before joining: I joined last night and did this intro thread plus one asking for advice. This morning I received exactly the information I needed. That is Grrrreat! 🐯
