I saw an email thread about these last Thursday at work. I called up a couple of shops in town and sure enough the third one I called had one. I drove over and picked up a brand new .40 version for $359. I havent shot it yet but so far I'm loving it. I'd like to add a flashlight on it without getting a new fore end, any ideas how to do it? Other than that I plan on getting a buffer, tube cover, charging handle cover and butt extension. I already put a hogue handall on it and it feels much more comfortable.

Sounds like you've been lurking and reading up on the Subbie. Did you hit the porn and the scope mount threads yet? Those two are filled with ideas from sweet and simple to full blown. Just don't copy 3wb's
Duh to me. An easy light mount is to throw either KT's picatinny on the bottom or add one to the side of the forend.

Go to the FAQ and look under Accessories in the 2nd post. There is a thread there with pictures of the Kel-tec and Tacticool accessories installed on members Subs. Welcome to the forum.
+1 on the little under rail. I think that should be the first and best accessory bought with the possible exception of Tacticool's tube cover.

It's up to 29 pages.....
So I already started with the mods. This is getting addictive. I just installed a small 2 slot universal barrel mount tri rail from UTG just in front of the stock fore end. It was half the cost of the KT one and has three sides as well as a mount for a laser. It's going to hold a flashlight as soon as I find a decent one that won't break the bank. I also have an 11 slot Magpul MOE rail and a Magpul AFG2 on the way. Total cost so far $46.

jim, There are a whole bunch of pics of the same scenario in the porn thread. Some guys have made whole forends outta them, a little research and lurking can answer about 80% of any question in here. I would love nothing more than a pic with every post, I don't know half the guns they talk about down in the Other Guns forum, so I gotta go look'em up. "Pictures speak a thousand words" but a thousand pictures sometimes say less.

Poor word choice maybe. But you did find some didn'tcha?
It, the FAQ, and all the other stickied threads on page 1 are provided as constantly evolving resources. It's not that we don't want to give a certain answer sometimes. But if the info is already there to be found sometimes why not look it up? And besides, you may find something else you would actually like better by doing that little bit of surfing. Lord knows I might have saved a couple hundred bucks on building the Space ModulatOr if we'd had something like that before I became a member.

No sweat. I had seen that setup several times but didnt connect the dots between the actual name of product and the pics i had already seen. I've actually seen quite a few very cool setups on here.
