I picked up a 9mm Sub 2000 last week and I really like it, but I'm having some challenges with the sights.

Out of the box it was shooting way low and left. I was able to adjust the windage to bring it to center, but even adjusting the elevation as far down as possible it still shoots low.

I had 2 other people with me today and they both agreed.

Is there anything I can do to either sight to fix this? I was trying to avoid pimping it out with a scope or other accessories.

Thanks!

If it's a Gen 1 just file the blade down a bit. If you mess it up a superior replacement blade is available cheap.

Should have mentioned that it's a Gen 2. My friend said to file it down too, but honestly I think even I I file it so there was just a little nub showingbut it would shoot ow.

I'm going to play with it tonight, but I think either the entire front needs to be lowered or the rear (fixed) needs to be raised?

At what distance is your target? We hear a lot of this at distances of less than 20 yeards. Set up your target at 20 or 25 yards.
Apologies for leaving this thread hanging. I posted an update in a different thread, but I was able to adjust the sight, and it's shooting VERY well now.

While I was at the range another shooter had metal "AR tool" for elevation adjustments so I used that instead of my plastic one. On the first try the sight still didn't move but I started gently wiggling the tool (it was a snug fit) and I felt it jump/release and I was able to move it down where I needed it.

Looking back I think the sight was cross or mis-threaded a bit because wouldn't budge. I may take the post all the way out and inspect it (and maybe add an after market one).

Thanks!
