I purchased my KSG for home defense because it was compact, reliable, and nimble. Pimping it out and adding weight with spikes, breaching muzzle breaks, daggers, etc, doesn't really fit my needs.
I have a choke adapter on my KSG, and a set of MagPul flip up sights, that I normally keep folded. The choke adapter was more or less "finger insurance", and I don't mind the extra two and a quarter inches in length, since the KSG is already so short to begin with. In my set of Remchokes I also own a breeching choke, but unless I see some obvious need (aka landlord duty) I just keep the cyl. choke in the adapter.
Other than stabbing melons or pumpkins, what use could this serve that the melee pyramids couldn't do way better. IMO, the heavy duty look of the melee pyramids seems more suited to DNA sampling.
