the kel-tec web site shows the pf-9 slide is in stock, blue only.
I wonder , do they come with sights, extractor etc installed?
I wish they would get some chrome slides in stock.
anybody ever get one? I guess chrome would cost more?

Yes, they come with the sights snd such already mounted.

Hate to tell you, Kel Tec hasn't offered Hard Chrome in quite awhile. They now use Nickel Boron...some say it looks better than hard chrome. Both have been a bit hard to get at times.

If you want a chrome slide [nickle boron now as haugrdr says] why not call Kel-tec and see what they can do for you. They might just be able to get you a nickle boron finished slide, even though they are not listed on the web site.

Some people report Kel-tec is great to deal with on the phone and will do their best to help you out with what you want. What is on their website is not all they have or all the can do, or so I have heard. I have had occasion to communicate with them via email and they were quite responsive and helpful.

You could send your present slide out for hard chrome or nickle boron. There are a lot of companies who do nickle boron and some have variations on it with other colors available, some for reasonable cost, some for rather astronomic cost. You can get the exact finish you want such as polish or polish then bead blast for a satin looking finish.

I have seen other guns hard chromed and my hard chrome PF9 does not look like Kel-tec did anything special before they applied the hard chrome. I would have actually preferred it be polished and bead blasted to get the matt stainless steel look. I am happy with it as it though, I am not going to start customizing it, except for some custom sights in the future.
