Just picked this new dark earth pmr 30 up this morning. Shop said they got it in 2 days ago. The serial is 6 characters and the box it came in is different then any others I've seen. Can anyone shed any light on it? All the cases I've seen of friends and online have foam inside, this just has pegs to keep it from flopping around
Scored it for 399.98, not bad compared to what used ones are going for in this area.

Also I watched some videos online of field stripping. Simple enough, but the videos I've watched say and show them pushing the take down pin right to left to get it out, mine goes left to right.

Mine came in the same kind of case. But the serial numbers on my gun and case match.

Mine is older. It has foam top and bottom. The case has a handle.

I got mine around the 1st of this month (May, 2016) and it has the same case. Looks like it's sort of an el-cheapo money saver for them. No handle, one little hole maybe for a lock? How effective would that be on this case?I removed the post near the upper right corner and the case now holds the gun, two spare magazines, and the speed loader. I will use this to store the gun, but for transporting I will use a more suitable foam lined, lockable case or range bag.

The assembly pin is ambidextrous (?), can be installed/removed from either side.

Noticed in a couple of these new photos, HiViz holder. Are they sending with extra sight tubes?

Mine came with a spare rear tube, and a solid white tube.

I've noticed that these tubes are great in the light, but they go dark as light fades...
One could breath deep the gathering gloom, or maybe find some night sights. Can we get NS for the PMR?

I like the TLR-1, it looks good, and a little weight up front isn't a bad thing, but it takes time to locate & line up the blacked out sights... night sights help your eyes line up on target quickly. The Streamlight goes back on the G21, and for the foreseeable future, my PMR use is restricted to situations that are illuminated.
