Hello, new member and first post. I have a gen-1 P32 that's been flawless since bought it over 20 years ago. That little pistol has been my EDC all this time and has outlasted many trucks! Anyway, I always wanted a P3AT but never got around to it while they were in production. Now if you find a used one it is either all beat up or way overpriced. Last week I was lucky enough to win an auction on a Freedom edition and picked it up yesterday. I have to say it appears to have never been fired, the laser didn't even have the battery installed. Looking forward to some range time to break it in.

Great score & welcome to KTOG.
Good snag! It looks NIB.
Picked up a 1 round mag extension. Not too sure this is an improvement yet...

I like them. Not only adds a round but accommodates another finger on the grip.

I have 3 of them and love them. Still pocket carry friendly. I might suggest that you try with and without the CT laser. I found my best grip was without the CT and with the 1 round extension. I get full two finger grip with this setup now.

I like the extra grip length for shooting but the extension spoils the outline when I pocket carry. I do have the +1 Magguts spring in the standard mag. If you use it with the +1 base plate you have 8 rounds.
So...are P3ATs sold out everywhere?

I've been looking around a bit and they are like hen's teeth.

Since production stopped over a year ago, I imagine the used market is pretty much all that's left.

Yes, and they are difficult to find even there.
