After several weeks of researching and many hours on this board, I took the plunge and bought the P3AT.

First, let me say what a fine companion it is to my Glock 27...as well as a great stand alone pistol.

I took the little beast (serial #J3xxx) home and did the goldenloki cleanup using 600 grit sandpaper, cleaned, and oiled it.

Next day, I went to the range to fire Winchester white box FMJ target rounds and Federal Hydra Shok JHP.

I shot 150 rounds of the white box ammo and 20 rounds of the Hydra Shok. It was flawless...no issues of any sort...well maybe one.

I have read several times about sore trigger fingers...not sure what happens during recoil..but wow, it slams my finger. No problems, cause I doubt I will shoot 170 rounds at one time again!!

Thanks to this board for all the info. It is now being happily carried with 7 rounds of hydra shok.

170 rounds in one setting with a P3AT?

WOW!

You are a better man then I am!
Makes my old arthritic hands hurt just to think about it!

Glad to hear it's working just fine!
