I just picked up my new Kel-tec P3AT. Have never owned a KelTec though I own many other guns. My kel-tec will be my BUG.

So some things I am interested in-

What is the best holster for a P3AT to carry below waist band and also on the ankle?

Is there a High cap mag available?

    Welcome to KTOG.

I only pocket carry so I can't help much with the holster question. Kholster makes some nice IWB holsters with a lot of adjustment, the LCP one would fit.

The only high capacity mags I know of are made by Pro mag and their quality is suspect. I am one of the only people here who has bought one (for my P32) and had good luck. They make 10 and 15  round magazines for the P3at, I'd guess they stick out quite a bit from the grip. Another KTOG member had posted about buying one of the high cap magazines and giving it a review but I don't know if it happened, you could try a search.

I currently use the "Bare Asset" IWB holster by High Noon, it's hard to beat for the money. K+D holsters makes a very nice holster also. Scroll through recent posts and you will find one titled "Holsters", check it out I think it will help you with your quest for a good holster.

Right now I use a DeSantis pocket holster, and I like it. Looking to get an IWB holster, but especially for a BUG I would think pocket carry would be good. As far as high capacity, there is a +1 that replaces the floor plate of the clip. I've heard mainly good things about them, other that in one instance they needed to trim the spring just a little. Congrats on the new purchase :)
