Went in last night to pick it up, ****in pumped to get it, but I got put on hold, surely because of elections :/. The gun was as wonderful as I thought it would be, but I noticed that the buffer tube and barrel were silverish in color, something i have never seen in pictures ANYWHERE. I can't find any info on it. It doesn't bother me, just kind of surprising. Anybody know if this is a brand new model or something like that?

Nope, been around for a long time...used to be hard chrome...now they use something else. I can't remember the name at the moment....salt bath something or another.
