New owner of this sweet carbine and am loving it. I just picked it up Monday and have already made two range trips. I generally only get two range trips a month, and I'm considering returning tomorrow! I did diligent research and think I have it ready to rock-n-roll. Using cheap brass ZQI, CBC, and Perfecta; it's set at b+21 and absolutely no failures after dialing it in on those three. Round count is right at 130. I'm actually getting about 1.8 MOA with the ZQI at 100yd. Pretty impressive for crap ammo, but admittedly out of a Lead Sled Solo. After zeroing, we spent the rest of the day ringing steel at 200yd with the ZQI. The few misses were likely due to shooter errors. The only magazine used was the included Thermold. I think I'll order a few more of those. I'm going to go ahead and order all the replacement spring as well as a couple of firing pins, just to make sure I can keep this rifle running after production stops. Any other wearable parts I should consider would be greatly appreciated.

VTac sling and Bushnell Tactical Elite 1-6.5 FFP. The Gun Zone in Mesquite, TX had all three colors in the 18" and 24". For some reason, the green and tan rifles were $50 less than black.

ZQI was running at b+23. The Perfecta had a few FTF at that setting. I got it set with b+21. I didn't even try to adjust for the CBC. It didn't feel over gassed, so I just left at +21 and ran with it. I will likely try to readjust it around the 200-250 round mark to see if the break-in will let me gas it down a little. The recoil impulse was pretty dang close to what I get in my M&P 10, so I don't think it's beating the rifle up at all.

I was thinking about running some of my hot 168gr .308 match reloads, but I have kind of given up on that idea. I don't thin the slower twist barrel will stabilize them the same way my 1:10 5R M&P does. Besides, I have a whole lot of 147-150gr 7.62x51 that'll keep me gunning for at least a year.
