A trusted friend was looking to sell his P-3AT; I had never heard of these, but said yes b/c the price was right and it looked like something I could carry just about anywhere. Was not ready for the severe pinching, and wondering why these guns are so popular. Then I found this forum.
I sanded all visible polymer flashing smooth (including beveling all sharp edges), and cut/bent/smoothed the trigger. Polished the ramp. What a difference! Sighting and the snappy recoil will take some getting used to, but this is now something I will practice with like the Glock 26.
