I have two LI hand guards and I liked both of them. If one thing could be improved, it would be the addition of a top rail or closed top section. For my hunter variant there’s just too much barrel and gas block exposed to burn my hand. I would like to see a forged or milled hand guard, so it’s less bendy on the front
New handgaurd for RDB?

Brand new here, ive been browsing the options and post around here for a better hand guard for my RDB. Im pretty disappointed with the available options BUT the good news is I heard some talk around my local shop about a guy launching a much better guard. Its supposedly going to be 13 inches or so long, probably some length options I hope for the shorter barrel guys. I'm super interested and am trying to get in touch with the fellow for some possible sneak peaks!
I'm sure some of you would be interested so I will post updates as it comes along if he lets me. Fingers crossed on this one!!!
UPDATE! You can see the new handguard going to be made by a new company in canada at www.maderifle.com if you are interested like me. Ive already placed my preorder

Picked up the Kel Tec Forend and I love it!!! Still have a couple of M-Lock accessories on the way to complete it.
Man I would love a closed top handguard. My LI rail has a lot of flex to it since it's open at the 12 o'clock position. I've caught my light on the edge of a barricade and it bent the forward section of the rail out and to the right. I was able to bend it right back, but I do, of course, prefer something more rigid. Having a rigid closed top handguard would be amazing! I could move my IR down to the rail then.
Extended top rail would also be a major bonus. Especially if it connects to the handguard. Like some of the Manticore Amrs stuff!

Man you guys run some FAT cans!! Who makes that butt pad?
So I got to see a early version but im super excited already. It hits all the spots the other rails missed, longer length with a full wrap around for end, full length top rail and no flex milled aluminum. Im definitely going to wait for the production model to release. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to take and share a picture but a release date is being determined currently. High anticipation, I love the rdb!
