Just doing some web surfing and came upon this image of a new PMR-30 magazine. This looks way different then mine. Anyone noticed this, or have mags that look like this?

That looks like a stock Kel Tec PMR magazine...as posted on the Kel Tec webstore....

Do you have a very early PMR or something?

I just bought my gun a month or so ago and mine look like this -

and yes, I took the first photo from the kel-Tec website

Uhmm...I almost hate to say it. They look like the same mag to me.

The only thing I see that may be different is the row of holes....but I can't see both sides to know if they are the same in the new picture?

Do you mean the color difference? One is grey the other is black?

The notches in the top of mine are non-existent in the pic from Kel-Tec

I see that now when I used a magnifier. Yours has a rounded notch where the new ones have a straight lip with a small step. The factory must have made a change.

The thing that ticks me off is I've spoken to Tech Support several times about my FTF issues and not once did the tech ask about the magazine style, or mention a change of design.

The second thing that ticks me off is that I ordered two replacement mags from Midway and they match mine.

So, I ordered one from Kel-Tec. We'll see Thursday...

Maybe it's the angle the first photo is taken at, but the feed lips look different to me. Fist pic looks like they're more open towards the front while the OP's pic seems to taper inward. Pretty sure mine are like OPs with the view holes.

I always thought that KT made these mags in-house, so if there actually is a difference I'd have to assume KT had a reason to change.

I believe KT makes the PMR and CMR mags in-house. Not absolutely positive though.

New mag came in and it's the same as my originals. So much for the picture on the Kel-Tec website...

And I haven't received a reply from them about it.

I really think it's just angle, lighting, and the fact that the Kel-Tec promotional picture doesn't have the rounds stacked properly to the top that's causing a trick of perception.....
