My son won this in a raffle and gave it to me for my birthday. I've only put 10 rounds through it because I had staples in my hand due to trigger finger surgery.

I'm really interested in a brace and maybe a supressor down the road but for now I got a sound forward muzzle brake. If the weather cooperates I'm planning on running a full may through it tomorrow with the muzzle brake on it.

This was just for looks honestly. Tacticool if you will. I watched a few YouTube videos that brought up sound reduction which is what got me wondering.

In wondered if it would make it quiet enough to not use hearing protection. I can do that with my CZ rifle. I figured that would not be the case with a semiauto pistol.

I highly doubt that the sound forwarder is there for anything other than looks and it does that quite nicely. But you'll find out. If you're half deaf like me, don't trust your ears to tell you that it's not hearing safe.

It absolutely offers ZERO noticeable sound reductions. I just did 10 rounds with and 10 rounds without and if there's a difference it couldn't be anything measurable.

I have the SilencerCo Sparrow and it is hearing safe with tons of margin. I say just dive in and start the process. Wait times are less than half what I endured in 2017-2018 (13 months). The other MUST purchase item is the SpeedLoader. Nice add one are the FarrowTech brace and 50 round mag extender. This setup is an absolute monster in Rimfire Challenge.

Let me also recommend the Inland PM-22 suppressor. With stamp, you'll have under $425 invested, and with Decibel Foam, it'll be giggle quiet.
