well those goofy placed sights hinder the shooter in two ways:
1) your sight radius is reduced to less than 2"
2) they're very likely to catch on something when drawing.
Flawed design. and who knows if it's even reliable.

watched it. not the same model as the one listed above with the funky sights. looks like aa nice shooting and handling gun.. only prob was the lil mini torture test. it didnt perform as well as a HP in sum of the torture tests ive seen on those.
I went to the website. I like the concept of the Caracal F model versus the C. It has standard Straight-Eight sights. I understand the concept behind the C's quick acquisition sights and would love to shoot one to see if it really makes a difference. However, I have to agree with the 'snag' problem. I don't see it as much of an issue from Kydex, but from a leather IWB, it could be.
It's good to see some development coming from the U.A.E. I've spent a lot of time over there in Abu Dhabi and Dubai; and, I enjoyed it immensely. I'm sure there will be more good things to come from that company in the future. I saw they now have an IDPA team. That's very cool. That will spark a lot of innovation.
