I wrapped my Sub2K in ATACS-LE camo by Gunskins. (It's a very durable vinyl wrap.) I thought I'd share my finished product with KTOG. It's a rather subtle camo pattern on a black rifle, but I really dig it.

Looks sharp. I have two questions for you, first I saw that you wrapped the extended magazine does that effect its function and second does it make the forestock slick or tacky to grip?
I only wrapped the portion of the magazine that extended past the grip. No change to the function of the mag.

The vinyl wrap is not tacky. The oem forend isn't really grippy in my book so I didn't notice a noticeable difference before vs after the camo wrap.

There is no pre-cut Gunskins kit for the S2K, so this is what I ordered. I have quite a bit of the material left over (nearly two feet remaining). http://www.gunskins.com/products/gear-skins/gear-skin.html

Troy v,

I could guess at the magazine wrapping and the product choice and I appreciate the quick response but the tactile property of it needed a personal review. I thank you for your help, I may tackle it over break.
You're welcome. Keep in mind this is the 6th rifle I've wrapped in the Gunskins. It gets easier/smoother with each one I do. Don't expect perfection with the first one you do. It's really important to watch the "how-to" videos on the Gunskins page before you start. You'll need a hobby knife, cutting pad (I recommend the "self healing" ones with the grid pattern found at all hobby stores - I bought mine from WalMart), and a cheap heat gun. They claim a decent hair dryer will also work, but I never tried it. I bought my heat gun from Harbor Freight and it works well.
