One of the problems with the SU-16c is that it can be a little difficult to make a sling work on the rifle. This is arrises because of the folding stock.
There are 3 main options for the rear sling attachment point.
1. The rear take down pin seems to be the place where folks settle on as the sling attachment point. One soltuion is to use a hitch pin. However the hit pin sticks out a long way and is held in place with a ball dedent.
2. The other option that is used is a universal cleavis pin and a split ring. However split rings are kind of flimsy and do not make a good sling attachment point.
This is what you need.
3. Buy a a sling attachment point for about $42.00 from http://www.performanceservicesmachining.com
Now there is a new option. It cost about 3.00 bucks. It might cost you a little more because the only thing I needed to buy was the pin.
Instructions.
1. Obtain supplies.
2. Sand and file clevis pin as needed so that it fits snuggly in the rifle.
3. Insert clevis pin and determine which hole you plan to use.
4. Drill clevis pin hole to accommodate sling swivel.
5. Cut clevis pin just past drilled hole.
6. Sand and file as needed to smooth pin.
7. Install.
8. Be happy.
