Pretty grips.

FWIW, the first 1911 I had was a Metro Arms "American Classic" that was more of a 1911A2 style, pretty plain-jane. By far, the absolute WORST 1911 I've owned out of several. Grip safety didn't work out of the box, the included magazine would not feed anything if loaded with more than 6 rounds, and there was rust under the grip panels right outta the box. I fixed the safety issue, got it to work so-so with other magazines, and got rid of it. That was back in, I dunno, around 2011 or so. Hopefully they've stepped up their game over the last 10 years.

Looks good, though.

I have one, the Commander version. It had a bur and would not go into battery, had it stoned down, and have not had a problem with it until recently, I have had a few FTFs, I got a new recoil spring in the mail today, and hopefully, that will solve the issue.

EDC, for about 12 years now. I kind of hate switching, but I have lately.
