I wanted to purchase a firearm to commemorate the recent U.S. Election, so in recognition of the contribution made by the great state of Florida, and the fact that I wanted one for a long time anyway, I decided to pick up a PMR-30.

Found a black one at my LGS and took her on a date to the local range. I could not be happier (unless .22 WMR was a lot cheaper.) I ran four boxes of CCI Maxi-Mag without a hiccup, and the last mag I dumped as fast as I could pull the trigger.

I'm not sure I'll use it for EDC, but it has great fishing/hunting/backpacking potential. Then again, that rate-of-fire would probably present an attacker with a high degree of demoralization.

My PMR 30 is my favorite woods loafing handgun. I carry it fly fishing and it does nightstand duty in the river side motel.

I bought my PMR under very similar circumstances.

Love shooting. Pretty neat how little recoil, and accurate it is.

I am amazed how well it loads from a double stack rimfire.

It is quite accurate but I'm the Tiger Woods of shooting. Started shooting quite a while ago an progressed nicely but seem to be in a slump. I shoot good enough but....
Unlike most everyone at the range I go for distance.

My wife bought a black one a week ago. Now we can't find another one. I want to cc one..... and packed it around Mexican carry most of the day, today. I really need a side clip of sorts to anchor it IWB. Any suggestions???

Well we/ve put 90 rounds of CCI 30 Grain HP thru it and very few hiccupls. Investigation revealed the HP/s were hanging up on the front of the magazine just enough to fail to load. I know a tiny file or craft scalpel will scrape enough plastic away to let the flat point of the bullet deflect up and into the chamber.

We have been looking or 45 or fifty grain round or cone nose for reliability feeding.

I've also been looking for a Side Clip for the PMR. But have landed a tiny IWB side clipped holster until... I can buy or fashion a Side Clip.

I tried Mexican carry but it ended up going the internal route to the top of my shoe after a jostle or two. Made me appreciate the external safety.
