I just bought a P3AT today (excited) and have heard many stories about them good and bad but the bottom line is I'm itching to shoot this thing which I plan on doing by this weekend. Anyway, I'm not sure which extractor I have (HR serial number) but I'll keep this post in mind if I have any problems.

Bah, I laugh at shooting gloves.

Then again, I think anyone would when they love shooting a S&W 500 magnum with 500 grain bullets, loaded hot without any gloves. ;D

Anyway, yeah, hopefully it is the newer one but if not I'll be calling. It sounds like they have pretty good customer service.
