Got it in my head to pick up a PLR16, and was thinking of using it as a "truck gun" for when I'm traveling. All of the common states I travel between have reciprocity for my CCW, and since it is a pistol I could keep it loaded and accessible while traveling, unlike a rifle.(and its much cheaper than any of my AR's, so I wouldn't be out $1000+ if my vehicle is stolen or broken into).
My basic idea is a Micro red dot,a sling, a Pistol brace, and a good flash hider, and that's about it. Anything else that is a common change or upgrade?
