I had an extra Vortex venom laying around and decided to get an $8 riser off amazon and mount it to the sub. Wasnt expecting the zero to hold well due to the plastic rail but after firing 51 rounds of cheapo perfecta from wal-mart i was satisfied it would indeed hold. This sight set up is super light and i can't tell the difference weight wise. This did solve my 2 complaints. 1st it fixed the difficult to aquire sight picture totally it is now very similar to an AR. Second i no longer get hit by powder particles since my face is in a different location.
