Which one should I get? I saw the vid on the charging cover and it "looks" close to what TI SUMO is, What would you guys recommend?
TBH it looks like the same as the MCARBO but cheaper,Not to interrupt the poll - have you considered the handle cover from Tacticool?
IMO, the charging handle cover if you plan on using it "stock" or adding the brass bolt. The SUMO handle if you want to add a bit of additional weight (.40 cycling).... What do you think is better?
The cover or a new charging handle?
With that description you HAVE to share a picture!I have purchased and installed the Mcarbo springs, trigger, and replacement screw sets for myS2K G2. But I used a small piece of black plastic hose for the charging handle cover. It looks just like all those for sale and cost me nothing. I really can't say what size it was, as I had it on my material shelf where I keep all the stuff my wife thinks I should throw away. I believe it was ~3/8". I know; cheap, but works well and looks great.![]()
So, you keep all of the stuff that your wife thinks you should throw away on ONE shelf. I hope that my wife does not read that.I have purchased and installed the Mcarbo springs, trigger, and replacement screw sets for myS2K G2. This poll is for charging handle covers, not tube covers. You need an option in the poll for none of the above. I had a Tacticool cover on mine for awhile and didn't see any benefit from it so I took it off. That little bit of thickness just made harder to get an eyeball on the rear sight. I'm thinking the Mcarbo would have had the same effect for me.
Just to qualify this . . .the shelf is 9 ft long, 2 ft deep. And I can only put stuff on the shelf that is small, generally parts torn off stuff to be thrown away. The OTHER cool stuff is still on the floor or in the garage. There is still a huge area for all of my lumber and woodworking tools, and there is that 4 ft long Rigid Tool Job Box filled with ammo that she has to walk around. Just sayin'. :machinegunner:So, you keep all of the stuff that your wife thinks you should throw away on ONE shelf. I hope that my wife does not read that.![]()
