Manual cocking pressure

    I have a number of other keltec pistols but my P3AT requires a lot of strength to manually rack the slide. It appears when the slide is pulled back about 1/4 inch from the front of the barrel and continues till full rack. It is smooth and the gun fires very well(300 rounds) with no failures.

    In general, the smaller they are, the harder they are to rack.

    It's all technique, though.

    same force will be a higher pressure  

    (lbfs per square inch)
