Years ago I used to own a Gen 1 HC P-32 and a P3AT. I made metal mag catches for both of them. I am now looking at making one for my new Gen 2 P-32. I know there used to be a guy here on the forum that made them for sale. Would there be any interest in me making them and posting them for sale in the trading post? Is there anything I need to know about before I start selling?

I would like to get some feedback from other P-32 owners on what they think. I will start out making them from aluminum. I am in the process of getting my Cerakote operation going so black or other color buttons will be a possibility in the future. Is there any interest in a textured or checkered button rather than smooth? Let me know what you guys think.

Over the years, a few people have made and sold them here. The last was sold here in 12/14. He was also selling them on eBay but I haven't checked to see if they are still available there.

That plastic catch holding a metal magazine has always been an issue with me. That's why I always hold the catch in while inserting a mag and push up on the mag before pushing the catch when removing it.

Yeah I never liked the idea of a plastic mag catch either. That's why I made my own out of aluminum. Seemed to be just the ticket with really positive retention and a discernible "click" when the mag fully seats.
