Has anyone fitted this AFG gen1 to an RDB?

It has those wings they need to clear the hand guard.
Which I suspect is why they made the gen2 without the wings.

I had one of the knockoffs on mine, worked just fine but I switched to the BCM kinesthetic grip thing
