Well since I can't find any posts I'll start by saying I bought my first KT , a p3at in green . Not a good time to have a .380 so I found out but I allways wanted a CC that really was concealed and easy to carry, I got the wallet holster , love it.

Now I have not had a chance to fire yet but I find the mag needs a pretty good slap to seat. Is this norm ? Will it ease up ?

    That is normal.

You can prolong the life of the magazine catch by depressing it when you insert a magazine.

This is something I haven't been doing. Guess that'll have to change!

This is always a good practice to do with any semi-auto hangun for the points already expressed. Too many movies just show you folks slapping a mag in.

While waiting for prices to come down (Grrrrr!), do yourself a favor and get some snap caps so you can dry fire your brand spanking new P3AT. It's recommended to do so. Remember, no dry firing without a snap cap.
