Can any KTOG members tell me if they have been using M-Pro 7 Military Grade Field CLP? I bought a bottle of this from Midway to try on my AR15 and M16 rifles and wondered how members felt about using this on their Kel-Tec handguns. How has it worked for you?
Link to the Midway site where it is sold--http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=137989

    Thank you,

Seems to me if it is good for AR15/M16 it should be good for the 3AT. Just don't overdo it, a little dab will do ya. ;)

I've followed GL's lube guide using Militec1 for about a year and all of my KT's run great. You can use a cheaper grease like automotive type grease and GL suggests CLP as well. Some people just use oil but I like the way grease stays where you put it longer than oil.

Just a light coat of oil and/or grease in the areas in the pictures an you should be fine.

EDIT: I just looked at the product link you provided again, I don't think it's CLP. It sounds like just a cleaner. If you want a CLP look for the Break Free brand, it's good stuff.

Keep us updated when you use it. My LGS has it but I bought pro-shot 1 step cleaner in stead, never heard of either one. I did buy the M-Pro oil though, figured I'd give that a try, plus it was the only oil I could find.

Thanks for everyone’s feedback. I used the product last weekend on my Armalite M16 and my Springfield 40 S&W MP and it seems to work great. It is an all in one Cleaner, Lubricant, and Protectant. I have only been shooting hand loaded lead bullets out of my 40 and it took the lead out of the chamber link a champ. Only time can tell on the lubricant and protectant part but it seems like a great product. After using with the M-Pro 7 I went ahead and run a patch through the barrel with Kano Kroil Penetrating Oil on it. After a few minutes I ran a clean patch through the barrel and it came through clean with little or no additional visible lead deposits on the patch. It sure seems to work as advertised and I am pleased so far. BTW… The copper deposits from my Amralite came out just as well and did a nice job cleaning the entire gun. It may not be the same stuff as the Break-Free CLP product but it sure works well and I will be buying more. :)
